The TJMS will be back in effect on the airwaves in Chicago soon, and it will be on 106.3 FM.
After being on the air on 102.7 FM (which I still like to call WBMX) for years upon years, Clear Channel decided to back the Steve Harvey Morning show instead of the TJMS.
Joyner told the Tribune after his show was pulled from V103 last month that, if he were in Clear Channel’s position, he would “probably do exactly the same thing because … strategically, it’s what they should have done.”
As it stands right now, Tony Sculfield is set to sit in the driver’s seat in the mornings at WGCI on April 1st 2009 and beyond. Steve Harvey will continue on V103, and Tom Joyner will no longer be on the air in Chicago, unless one has the ability to stream audio from the internet […]
