R. Kelly’s Divorce is Final

Robert Kelly and his now ex-wife Andrea Lee Kelly have finalized their divorce.
It’s over now.
After eleven years, the lead singer and choreographer have decided to go their separate ways, and have joint custody of their children.
“The parties have reached an amicable resolution concerning all issues related to their marriage and will share joint custody of their three children,” an announcement from R. Kelly’s lawyers said. “The details of this agreement will remain confidential and the family requests that their privacy be respected during this time.”
They stood together during the six year trial that Kells went through. But in 2005, Andrea filed an emergency protective order to keep the him away from her because of physical abuse. She asked to pull that order back soon after.
