Magic’s Dwight Howard suspended 1 game by NBA…

Orlando Magic superstar Dwight Howard may want to re-think his ways of retailating against physical play.

This comes after the All-Star center picked up his 16th techinical foul of the season during Friday’s 89-81 loss to Chicago, which means that Howard will miss Monday’s game against Portland due to league suspension.

Howard commented afterwards that although he was frustrated, he must find a way to handle situations better:

“It’s very frustrating and there’s only so much that somebody can take when people are grabbing you, holding you and slapping you in the face, sometimes you are going to retaliate. I’ve just got to try to not get so emotional.”

The Magic are 1-1 without Howard this season, as he missed 2 games in early December of 2010 with the stomach flu.

Orlando is currently ranked 4th in the East with a 40-23 record, as they are 3.5 games behind Miami for first place in the Southeast Division.
