Center:
Yao Ming, Houston Rockets. (8th All-Star selection)
Ming will miss the 2010 All-Star Game due to injury (leg) & averaged 10.2 points per game on 48.7% shooting in a career-low 18:06 minutes per game.
Forwards:
Carmelo Anthony, Denver Nuggets. (4th All-Star selection)
Despite a drop in his numbers (23.9 points per game is down from last season’s 28.2), Anthony is averaging a career-high 8.0 rebounds per game.
Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City Thunder. (2nd All-Star selection)
Durant is averaging 28 points or more for the 2nd straight season & is averaging a career-high 20.4 field-goal attempts per game.
Guards:
Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Lakers. (13th All-Star selection)
Bryant’s numbers have also dropped this season, but he is on pace to shoot 45% or better from the field for the 6th straight year.
Chris Paul, New Orleans Hornets. (4th All-Star selection)
While Paul’s scoring has gone down in each of the last 3 seasons, he is averaging career-highs in three point field goal percentage (46.2%) & free-throw percentage (89.3%).
