Despite beating both the Patriots & Saints in back-to-back weeks, it wasn’t enough to save Eric Mangini’s job.
The Cleveland Browns parted ways with the 39-year old Mangini on Monday, which ends his 2-year run as head coach.
Since taking the New York Jets to the playoffs during 2006, Mangini’s teams have finished just 23-41 (.359) since.
Some of the early big-name candidates that could replace Mangini includes Bill Cowher, Jon Gruden, John Fox, Brad Childress, Josh McDaniels & Jim Mora Jr.
