It didn’t take the Utah Jazz very long to find a replacement for Carlos Boozer, as they dealt for Al Jefferson on Tuesday from the Minnesota Timberwolves.
In return, Minnesota will receive a pair of future 1st round draft picks and a player to be named later.
The Timberwolves decided to go in a different direction with the recent trades for Darko Milicic & Michael Beasley, as Kevin Love should now have a bigger role for them next season.
Jefferson’s numbers dipped a bit last season after averaging a double-double from 2006 to 2009 with Boston & Minnesota, as he averaged 17.1 points & 9.3 rebounds in 76 games.
