Despite a troubled offseason that included the suspension of two-time Super Bowl winning quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, it will not appear to affect Mike Tomlin’s job security.

The Pittsburgh Steelers agreed to a 3-year contract extension on Tuesday, which will keep their 38-year old head coach in the Steel City through 2012.

With their Super Bowl XLIII win over the Arizona Cardinals on February 1st of 2009, Tomlin became the youngest head coach ever to win the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

He has a record of 31-17 record in three seasons with Pittsburgh, which includes 3-1 in the postseason.
