Cleveland Cavaliers’ superstar forward LeBron James is now in a list of exclusive company, as he became just the 10th player in league history to win consecutive Most Valuable Player awards, as he was officially named MVP of the 2009-10 season on Sunday.
He now joins Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Moses Malone, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Tim Duncan & Steve Nash as back-to-back MVP award winners, as everyone except for Nash has appeared in the NBA Finals.
James shot over 50% for the first time in his career this season & finished with a career-high 651 minutes, while logging under 3,000 minutes for a career-low.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have won four of their first five playoff games & will look to go up 2-0 on the Boston Celtics Monday evening.
