The Boston Celtics will try to take a 2-0 series lead on the Miami Heat tonight without their 3rd leading scorer & 2nd leading scorer, as forward Kevin Garnett has been suspended for Game 2 following his actions during Boston’s 85-76 win on Saturday.
The incident started after Paul Pierce fell into the seats near Boston’s bench, as Miami’s Quentin Richardson went over to check on him.
Garnett responded by elbowing Richardson, which will force him to watch tonight’s game from VP of Basketball Operations Danny Ainge’s suburban Boston home.
Glen Davis will start in Garnett’s place.
