Richard Jefferson scored 29 points & grabbed 7 rebounds, as the San Antonio Spurs beat the Dallas Mavericks 92-83 without the services of Tim Duncan & Tony Parker.
Keith Bogans & Manu Ginobili also added 13 points, as they were two of six Spurs in score in double figures.
Dirk Nowitzki scored 29 points & grabbed 12 rebounds for Dallas, while Jason Terry added 19 off the bench.
San Antonio made up for their woeful free-throw shooting (10 of 19 for 52.6%) by connecting of 14 of 34 three-point attempts for 41.2%.
November 18th, 2009@Dallas:
Dirk Nowitzki was a one-man wrecking crew, as he poured in 41 points to go with 12 rebounds in 44 minutes of action as the Dallas Mavericks beat the San Antonio Spurs 99-94 in overtime despite playing without three starters (Erick Dampier, Shawn Marion & Josh Howard all sat due to injury).
Drew Gooden added 17 points & 11 rebounds, as Dallas won despite connecting on just 3-of-17 shots (17.6%) from three-point distance.
The Spurs were led by Tim Duncan’s 22 points, 14 rebounds & 6 assists while George Hill added 15 in a losing effort.
January 8th, 2010@San Antonio:
Dirk Nowitzki scored 26 points as the Dallas Mavericks used a 42-point 4th quarter to beat the San Antonio Spurs 112-103.
Jason Terry added 21 points & 8 assists off the bench, as the Mavericks’ reserves enjoyed a 47-29 edge over the Spurs.
Tim Duncan led San Antonio with 31 points, 12 rebounds & 5 assists while Tony Parker added 21 points & 6 assists.
Wednesday, April 14th@Dallas:
Caron Butler scored 20 points, as the Dallas Mavericks beat the San Antonio Spurs 96-89, who rested both Tim Duncan & Manu Ginobili.
Dirk Nowitzki scored 19 points while Jason Kidd added 18 points & 7 rebounds as the Mavericks’ star players received nearly three quarters’ worth of playing time.
DeJuan Blair had a monster game for San Antonio despite the loss, as the rookie forward scored 27 points & grabbed 23 rebounds.
Tony Parker added 16 off the bench for the Spurs, who shot a woeful 2-for-22 (09.1%) from three-point range.
