Colts erase 11-point 1st half deficit to beat Jets 30-17..

After a 2nd quarter that saw the Jets put up 17 points, the Colts responded by scoring 24 unanswered points to highlight their 30-17 win, which sends them to their 2nd Super Bowl appearence in the last 4 years.
4-time MVP Peyton Manning was at his best against New York’s top-ranked defense, as he completed 26 of 39 passes for 377 yards & threw for 3 touchdowns.
Pierre Garcon had the biggest day of his professional career, as the Haiti native hauled in 11 receptions for 151 yards & 1 touchdown.
Fellow rookie Austin Collie also had a big day with 7 receptions for 123 yards & 1 touchdown, as it overshadowed a fairly quiet day from the Colts’ top two receiving targets in Reggie Wayne (3 receptions for 55 yards) & Dallas Clark (4 receptions for 35 yards & 1 touchdown.)
Despite suffering an early injury, Joseph Addai was able to run for 80 yards on 16 carries, as Indianapolis ran for 106 yards against New York’s top-ranked run defense.
The Colts will advance to Super Bowl XLIV to face either the Vikings or Saints on February 7th in Miami, as they will make their 4th all-time Super Bowl appearence.
