This is the kind of day Reggie Bush envisioned having ever since coming to the NFL from USC.
Bush’s 46-yard touchdown run capped off a 21-point 1st quarter for New Orleans, while he later added a 83-yard punt return for a touchdown.
After Tim Hightower’s 70-yard touchdown run to give Arizona an early spark, New Orleans dominated the rest of the way as they outscored the Cardinals 45-7.
Kurt Warner in possibly his final NFL game completed 17 of 26 passes for 205 yards while getting intercepted once.
Drew Brees showed no rust from his 2 weeks off, as he completed 23 of 32 passes for 247 yards & threw for 3 touchdowns.
The Saints will host the winner of today’s Cowboys/Vikings game next Sunday at the Superdome for the NFC Championship Game.
