Black Mamba strikes again! Bryant sinks buzzer-beater to beat Kings

Kobe Bryant lifted his Los Angeles Lakers to another exciting win on Friday, but this one required some extra work.
The Lakers rallied from a 20-point deficit before Bryant knocked down a three-point as time expired to lift Los Angeles to a 109-108 win over Sacramento.
The officials confirmed that Bryant’s left foot was inbounds as he got the winning shot up right in front of the Kings’ bench for his first game-winner of 2010 & exactly 4 weeks after he beat Miami with a buzzer-beating three.
Kobe on his latest game-winning basket:
“It looked like they went into a zone coverage on the inbounds pass, and that side was wide open. It was just a matter of me getting to that spot with enough time to get a shot off. Phil drew up a play for a 3. He wanted me to get a good look and knock it down. I think he wanted to get out of here.”
Phil Jackson even compared Bryant to another well-known superstar:
“These players—I don’t know how they get themselves into those positions, but they do an unbelievable job of hitting shots that are remarkable shots, marvelous shots. He’s right there with Michael in that kind of breath you look at.”
Bryant will have a chance to surpass Patrick Ewing for 15th place on the NBA’s all-time scoring list with 16 points or more on Sunday evening when the Lakers host the Dallas Mavericks.
