Mariners sign Chone Figgins to 4yr deal..

Chone Figgins will be staying in the AL West, as the talented utilityman agreed to a 4 year, $36 million deal on Friday with the Seattle Mariners.
Figgins will give Seattle a good contact hitter with speed, as he hit a career-high 30 doubles last season & stole 42 bases (has stolen 40+ bases in 4 of the past 5 seasons).
Chone has actually had trouble stealing bases at SAFECO Field, where’s he had 11 stolen bases & has been caught 13 times.
