It looks like another long offseason is in store for Portland center Greg Oden.
The former 1st overall 2007 draft pick fractured his left kneecap on Friday against Houston, which will end his season.
Just 4 days prior to his season-ending injury, Oden grabbed a career-high 20 rebounds during the team’s 107-100 loss to Miami.
Blazers general manager Kevin Pritchard may have summed it up best when he told his team in the locker room following Friday’s win that Oden’s injury felt “like a punch to the gut”.
