Chapter 13 is the word for the actress famous for playing Whitley on the 90’s hit TV show A Different World.
Jasmine Guy and her recent ex-husband owe Uncle Sam some dough.
TMZ.com is reporting that Jasmine Guy has had to file for Chapter 13 bankruptcy due to a load of back taxes that she accumulated with her ex-husband Terrence Mitchell Duckett before their April divorce.
According to papers filed in L.A. Superior Court, Guy owes $123,503.64 in back taxes and penalties while Duckett is on the hook for $94,354.71, reports TMZ.
Whoa. Uncle Sam is the biggest gansta in the world, and he takes the money he gets from his loyal citizens very seriously.
Good thing she just got cast on Vampire Diaries.
