Pistons agree to terms with pair of former UConn Huskies..

The Detroit Pistons made a pair of big moves today to try & rebound from a 1st round playoff sweep.

Ben Gordon agreed to a 5 year, $55 million deal & will most likely serve as a 6th man for the Pistons next season, which ends his 5-year run with the Chicago Bulls.

The Pistons also signed a former UConn Huskie today, as forward Charlie Villanueva agreed to a 5 year, $35 millon deal which ends his 3-year tenure with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Villanueva is coming off a personal best season, in which he averaged career-highs in points (16.2) & rebounds (6.7) per game.

Detroit is still searching for a new head coach after firing Michael Curry after just 1 year on Tuesday.

Candidates include former Pistons player Bill Laimbeer, ESPN analyst Avery Johnson & former Pistons coach Doug Collins.
