Magic acquire Vince Carter…

Despite losing in 5 games to the Los Angeles Lakers earlier this month in the NBA Finals, the defending Eastern Conference champion Orlando Magic are already looking for ways to improve themselves.
Orlando acquired 8-time All-Star & former Rookie of the Year winner Vince Carter on Thursday, along with Ryan Anderson.
In return, the New Jersey Nets will receive Rafer Alston, Courtney Lee & Tony Battie.
Carter has been a durable player over his last 4 seasons, as he has appeared in at least 75 games & averaged at least 20 points per game.
If the Magic are able to re-sign Hedo Turkoglu, it will give them perhaps the best starting five in the NBA as each player averaged at least 16 points per game last season.
Orlando will try to advance past the 1st round next season, which hasn’t been done since 1995.
