Mets’ Jose Reyes involved in car accident..

In a minor incident Monday, Mets shortstop Jose Reyes along with team trainer Ray Ramirez were rear-ended by a fire truck on the way to a hospital for Reyes’ checkup, but neither men were injured.
Reyes is currently on the disabled list with a hamstring injury & is improving, but is unable to run full speed on it yet as the Mets are 14-14 since their 2-time All-Star went on the DL on May 21st.
Outfielder Carlos Beltran was placed on the disabled list Monday with a bone bruise in his right knee, making him the 9th different Met that is currently on the DL with an injury.
