Former NFL quarterback Ryan Leaf surrendered himself to the Randall County Jail in Canyon, Texas on Friday after facing one count of burglary & eight other drug-related counts.
Leaf recently served as a golf coach at West Texas A&M in November of 2008, but resigned following a drug investigation.
He is being accused of breaking into an unnamed football player’s apartment & stealing Hydrocodone, which is a drug used to treat painkillers.
Ryan Leaf put up dismal numbers in his four NFL seasons with San Diego, as he appeared in 25 games & threw just 14 touchdowns compared to 36 interceptions for a 50.0 quarterback rating.
