Jada Pinkett Smith on New TV Series Hawthorne

Will Smith’s wife talks about her new staring roll on the up and coming TV show Hawthorne. Jada Pinkett Smith takes a break from film work as she goes back to television, and will star as a nurse who is a single mom raising a teenager.
Jada didn’t have to go very far at all to research this role, as she got alotta inspiration directly from her own mother. Jada’s moms was single, a nurse, and she raised Jada alone.
Meanwhile back at the ranch, the Smith family are on their way to Japan to film a remake of The Karate Kid. No, Will Smith with not be playing Mr. Miyagi. No, Jada Pinkett will not play the roll of the Karate Kid’s mom. However, their son Jaden Smith will star in the movie that will be named “The Kung Fu Kid,” along with Jakie Chan being the Mr. Miyagi type dude.
