Lakers’ Andrew Bynum: “I want more minutes”

The Los Angeles Lakers’ current postseason run has been hit with a developing storyline, as starting center Andrew Bynum & head coach Phil Jackson are griping over Bynum’s playing time.
Jackson was upset with a poor defensive play that Bynum made during Thursday’s Game 2 against Denver, so he yanked his 21-year old center from the game with 7:14 remaining in the 3rd quarter & never put him back in.
Jackson also commented on Sunday that Bynum “cannot play long stretches” due to his not fully yet recovered torn right knee ligament.
Bynum has scored just 22 points and grabbed 12 rebounds so far during the Western Conference Finals while committing more personal fouls (9) than made field goals (8).
The Lakers will look to take a commading 3-1 series lead tonight against the Nuggets in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals.
Denver hasn’t lost back-to-back home games all season at the Pepsi Center.
