Written by on April 26, 2009

Boston Celtics’ guard & Chicago native Tony Allen will have increased security around him for today’s Game 4 against the Bulls after receiving recent death threats from “childhood associates”.

Allen is currently in his 5th NBA season & played briefly during Boston’s 107-86 win in Game 3 over Chicago on Tuesday.

Used mostly as a reserve, Allen appeared in 46 games this season while averaging 7.8 points per game on 48.2% shooting.

Stay tuned for a Bears blog later, as they will have 9 picks today after trading yesterday’s 2nd rounder to the Seattle Seahawks.

Chicago is also apparently in the hunt to try & get Anquan Boldin from the Arizona Cardinals, so stay tuned!!
