Jennifer Hudson and Jennifer Holiday Perform Together

Check out Jennifer Holiday as she took the stage with J-Hud the other day in Atlanta, and they blew the you-know-what outta the song that made them both famous.
Miss Holiday sang the lights outta this joint in the 1981 Broadway production of Dream Girls, and as many times as this song has been sung and sung again, Miss Holiday’s version remains my personal favorite. Nobody has ever come close to the original Effie.
J-Hud is responsible for the latest rendition of “And I Am Telling You,” and it helped her come up on an Oscar for her performance in the big-screen adaptation of the play. Chicago’s very own y’all is already on point and doing great things herself.
