Altercation on South Side Leaves Teen Shot to Death

CHICAGO, IL – a 15 year old boy is dead this afternoon after a fight led to a shooting. Dude caught one right in the chest on the South Side. Details are still developing…
The incident occurred at about 12:30 p.m. in the 7700 block of South Carpenter Street, said News Affairs Officer Laura Kubiak. It was unclear exactly how old the teen was, she said.
A spokeswoman for the Cook County medical examiner’s office said investigators had been alerted to the death of a 15-year-old.
Police said the shooting may have happened after an altercation. Check back for more details.
