Bernie Willams recently admitted that he wants to return to baseball, but his latest run-in with the law may put his comeback hopes on hold.
A woman (no name is available at the time) has claimed that Williams used her camera in an attack when the 40-year old former New York Yankee outfielder noticed that she was trying to take pictures of him.
According to the unnamed woman, Williams took the camera, damaged it & struck her in the face around 2:30 AM Thursday at a Puerto Rico nightclub.
Williams is 0-for-4 with 2 walks & 1 strikeout in 3 games so far for the unbeaten Puerto Rico team, who will face Team USA on Saturday in Miami, FL.
Williams has not appeared in a major league game since October 1st, 2006 & spent all 16 seasons with the New York Yankees.
