The Clipse in the Studio with Rick Ruben

The Hood superstar Hip-Hip group will be hooking up with one of the original Hip-Hop producers.
The Clipse are signed to Columbia Records where Rick Rubin is the cochairman. The Virginia based Hip-Hop group is working on their third album, in which they have completed one of an anticipated three songs that will be produced by Ruben per Entertainment Weekly:
Rubin, who signed the Clipse to Columbia Records shortly after taking over as the label’s cochairman in 2007, has completed one tune with them so far in a Malibu studio; they plan to work with him on one to two more in the coming weeks.
Rick Ruben is famous for being the co-creator of the Def Jam record label with Russel Simmons. Def Jam launched the careers of Hip-hop greats like LL Cool J, The Beastie Boys, and another legendary Hip-Hop group called Run DMC.
