Utah Jazz owner Larry Miller dead at 64.

Utah Jazz owner Larry Miller passed away on Friday after losing a battle with type II diabetes in his hometown of Salt Lake City, Utah.

Miller has been owner of the Jazz since June of 1986, which prompted in Utah making SEVENTEEN consecutive postseason apperances which ended in the 2003-04 season.

Miller also moved the team from the Salt Palace to Energy Solutions Arena (formerly named the Delta Center) in 1991.

Utah made two NBA Finals apperances under Miller & lost twice to the Chicago Bulls.

It is unsure at this time who will take over as owner for the deceased Miller, who leaves behind his wife Karen, 5 children & 20 grandchildren.
