Larry Hughes will indeed be a New York Knick after the original trade fell through, but Chicago will receive two different players in return.

Center Jerome James (who was mentioned in my 1st blog) is coming to the Bulls, along with forward Tim Thomas & guard Anthony Roberson.

James has appeared in just 2 games this season for the Knicks & hasn’t played since December 19th, 2007.

Thomas will make his 2nd stint with the Bulls & is averaging 9.6 points per game in his 12th NBA season.

He was not a favorite of former head coach Scott Skiles, who played him in just 3 games during the 2005-06 season.

Thomas also claimed after he signed with the Phoenix Suns that “The Bulls were scared because i’m better than Luol Deng”, which he is now teammates with for the 2nd time in his career.

Roberson is a seldom-used guard who is averaging just 4.7 points per game in his 3rd NBA season.

In a separate deal, the Knicks acquired forward Chris Wilcox from the Oklahoma City Hornets in exchange for forward Malik Rose.
