Home Sweet Home: Griffey returning to Mariners..

It looks like Ken Griffey Jr. will get to end his future Hall-of-Fame career where it all started.
After an apparent 1-year deal with the Atlanta Braves fell through, Griffey decided to re-join the Seattle Mariners, which is the team that he spent his first 11 Major League seasons with.
During those 11 years in Seattle, Griffey made 10 All-Star appearences, won 10 Gold Gloves, 7 Silver Slugger awards & captured the American League’s 1997 Most Valuable Player award.
In 153 games last season combined with the Cincinnati Reds & Chicago White Sox, Griffey hit 122 for 490 (.249) with 18 home runs & 71 runs batted in.
Griffey is currently 5th on baseball’s all-time list with 611 homers & is the only current active player with 600 home runs or more.
New York Yankees’ 3rd baseman & recently admitted steroid user Alex Rodriguez can join Griffey in the 600-homer club if he hits 47 home runs this season.
