Country Club Hills Man Kills His Mother

COUNTRY CLUB HILLS, IL – 27 year old Jarrett Jones is being charged with fist degree murder for the strangulation of his 59 year old mother. Sheryl Jones was found unresponsive by her husband.
Jarrett was not at his bail hearing because he was being treated at Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest for mental illness.
Sheryl Jones also had a history of mental illness, police and a neighbor said.
