Lakers trade for former collegiate star Adam Morrison..

Adam Morrison is hoping that a return to the West Coast will elevate his game, just like it did during his college days at Gonzaga. (Morrison was college basketball’s leading scorer in his junior year with 28.1 points per game)
Morrison was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday along with Chicago native Shannon Brown in exchange for Vladimir Radmanovic.
Morrison averaged just 4.5 points per game this season in 44 games played & averaged just 15 minutes per contest for the Charlotte Bobcats.
Radmanovic drew the defensive assignment in the 2008 NBA Finals to try & stop Paul Pierce, but failed. Pierce wound up winning Finals MVP & averaged 21.8 PPG during the Celtics’ 6-game triumph over the Lakers.
Morrison most likely will not be available for the Lakers’ showdown tomorrow afternoon in Cleveland, where the Cavaliers’ 23-game home winning streak will be put to the test against Los Angeles’ NBA best 17-5 road record.
