“This ain’t a game, but you can say it’s a Monopoly!”

Sirius Satellite Radio and XM Radio were the two only major satellite radio providers, but they have combined as you already know if you half-way care.
It’s been only six months since the two pay subscription radio services have combined, and the prices are now going up per Popwatch.com.
The new Sirius XM is raising prices starting March 11, charging $2 more per month for additional subscriptions, and $2.99 a month for online streaming (formerly part of the base package). This move is seemingly in line with the FCC merger agreement because technically, the company is not raising its base price — if you have one receiver and don’t stream online, you’re not affected.
Whatever. It’s gonna continue to rise and you can not switch cause there’s nobody else.
Podcasting is the best and the only true free radio. My opinion will not change unless Sirius XM either picks up my show, or offers me a job 🙂
Howard Stern Fans are gonna have to dish out a few extra bucks to listen on the internet now or to have a receiver in both the car and the crib.
…and the radio power game goes on.
