Any doubts about the Chicago Bears being one of the NFC’s best teams were answered on Sunday afternoon, as they got a season-high 4 touchdown passes from Jay Cutler during their 31-26 win over the Philadelphia Eagles from Soldier Field.

More importantly, they sacked Michael Vick 4 times & also forced 4 fumbles (season-high), as the former Pro Bowl quarterback suffered his first loss in a game that he started this season.

Matt Forte had a big game on the ground, as his 61-yard burst in the first half helped spring him to 117 yards rushing on just 14 carries.

Earl Bennett enjoyed the first multi-touchdown game of his career, as half of his 4 receptions went for scores.

The big story of this game though was Cutler, who put together his best performance since Week  2 as he completed 14 of 21 passes for 247 yards & threw for 4 touchdowns.

Since the bye week, Cutler has completed 69 of 111 passes (62.1%) for 828 yards with 9 touchdowns & just 3 interceptions, as the Bears are now among the NFC’s hottest teams with Atlanta & New Orleans.

Chicago will go for their 5th straight win next Sunday at Ford Field, as they will take on the 2-9 Detroit Lions.
