Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher on the team’s first shutout on Thursday since 2006:
“Coach let us keep going at the end of the game. We didn’t want to give up any points. Anytime you have a chance that late in the game for a shutout, you might as well try to keep it. They’re really hard to get in the NFL.”

Star Player of the Game: Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who completed 18 of 29 passes for 275 yards while throwing for 3 touchdowns. Roethlisberger also rushed 3 times for 55 yards & scored 1 touchdown.
Raiders defensive end Richard Seymour on his punch to Roethlisberger following a Steelers touchdown, which led to his ejection:
“I’m not sure why he ran up on me. I just turned around and it was a natural reaction.”

“Never felt like it was something that was out of our reach. I think certainly we defied the odds. … We held our ground and didn’t allow them to take those turnovers and bury us. That’s what typically happens—it’s a landslide.”
