Bears squeeze past winless Bills 22-19..

For the 3rd consecutive week, the Buffalo Bills had a chance to walk away with their first win of the season.

All three times, they came up just short.

The Chicago Bears got a late interception from Chris Harris to seal their 22-19 win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon from Rogers Centre in Toronto.

Jay Cutler performed much better in his first game since the 4-interception disaster on October 24th, as he completed 17 of 30 passes for 188 yards & threw for 2 touchdowns while only being sacked once for the entire game.

Earl Bennett has been more active in recent weeks, as he caught 4 receptions today for 52 yards, which included a 2-yard touchdown midway through the 4th quarter, which turned out to be the game-winner.

Steve Johnson had a huge game despite the loss for Buffalo, as he caught 11 receptions for 145 yards.

The Bears almost got a scare late into Sunday’s game, as Julius Peppers needed help getting up on the Bills’ final offensive series.

Peppers afterward said that he simply got “the wind knocked out of him”, and should be fine for next week.

Chicago will welcome the struggling 3-5 Minnesota Vikings to town next Sunday afternoon, as they’ll look to hand Brett Favre his 2nd straight loss at Soldier Field.

As for the Bills, they will travel to Detroit in hopes of getting their first win against the 2-6 Lions.
