The Atlanta Hawks have locked up their 24-year old All-Star forward through 2015, as Al Horford agreed to a 5-year deal on Monday that will be worth up to $60 million.
Last season, Horford became the first Hawks’ draft pick to make the All-Star Game since Kevin Willis in 1992 while finishing in the top 10 in both field-goal percentage (.551) & rebounds (9.9 per game).
In just 3 games this season so far, Horford is shooting a career-high 61.5% from the field & shooting a career-high 84.6% from the free-throw line.
