Star Player of the Game: Chiefs running back Thomas Jones, who rushed 20 times for 125 yards & scored 1 touchdown.

Jaguars head coach Jack Del Rio on Todd Bouman’s performance on Sunday, which was his first NFL action in 5 years:

“Todd played great. He played above what we hoped and needed from him today. We would like to have back the pick six there when it was a tight ballgame. That marred what was shaping up to be a great day for him.”

Star Player of the Game: Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt, who caught 7 receptions for 225 yards & scored 3 touchdowns.

Titans quarterback Kerry Collins on Britt’s career day:

“The guy loves to play. He loves making big plays. As a quarterback, it is nice to know that a guy like that is on your team because, like I said today, there were some throws that weren’t exactly perfect, but the guy did whatever he had to do to get the ball.”

Star Player of the Game: Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco, who completed 16 of 31 passes for 250 yards while throwing for 3 touchdowns.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh on his team’s win despite giving up 505 yards defensively:

“What we said in the locker room is a win is a win. I’m not going to stand up here and say that we played well. We obviously had some things that we didn’t do very well at all.”

Star Player of the Game: Browns defensive end David Bowens, who returned a 30-yard interception & a 64-yard interception for touchdowns.

Browns linebacker Scott Fujita on facing his former team for the first time on Sunday:

“I tried to do my best early this week in practice to prepare our team for what we would face today, as it’s no secret that I am familiar with the Saints. It’s one thing to plan the X’s and O’s, but it’s another to come out and execute it. The way we did it was pretty impressive. … I didn’t think we’d shut them down like that.”

14

Star Player of the Game: Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall, who recorded 4 interceptions which included a 92-yard return for a touchdown.

Bears quarterback Jay Cutler on if he thought about avoiding Hall throughout Sunday’s game:

“No. Not at all. I’ve played against him before. There’s no reason to shy away from him. I mean, that’s hard for me to say throwing four picks to the guy, but I still think if we had to play him tomorrow, I’d go after him every time.”

32

Star Player of the Game: Falcons wide receiver Roddy White, who caught 11 receptions for 201 yards & scored 2 touchdowns.

Falcons running back Michael Turner on White’s big day:

“That’s one of the greatest games I’ve seen him play. That’s just the play-making ability he has. It can show up anytime, against anybody.”

23

22

Star Player of the Game: Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who completed 19 of 27 passes for 302 yards & threw for 2 touchdowns.

Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder on the controversial goal-line fumble by Roethlisberger that stood, despite TV replays showing that Miami recovered:

“The refs called a wonderful game—for the Steelers.”

23

20

Star Player of the Game: Panthers wide receiver David Gettis, who caught 8 receptions for 125 yards & scored 2 touchdowns.

49ers quarterback Alex Smith on the left shoulder injury that knocked him out of Sunday’s game:

“It’s definitely the AC, I think. It’s very similar. But I don’t know to what extent. There’s not really much to say right now.”

18

17

Star Player of the Game: Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Williams, who caught 5 receptions for 82 yards.

Buccaneers head coach Raheem Morris on Josh Freeman’s game-winning touchdown pass to Carnell Williams with 10 seconds remaining:

“I’ve got so much confidence in the young man. He has so much confidence in himself. He says it best. He says he loves winning more than he hates losing, and that’s a great way to live.”

22

10

Star Player of the Game: Seahawks wide receiver Mike Williams, who caught 11 receptions for 87 yards & scored 1 touchdown.

Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck on the five field goals from kicker Olindo Mare:

“We didn’t capitalize on red zone opportunities like we need to with touchdowns. Luckily, Olindo is just automatic.”

23

20

Star Player of the Game: Patriots linebacker Jerod Mayo, who recorded 10 tackles & recovered 1 fumble.

Chargers kicker Kris Brown on his potential game-tying 50 yard field goal miss:

“It just stayed down that hash mark. It just hit the upright. It’s frustrating because I felt like I hit it pretty good. It just didn’t go in.”

59

14

Star Player of the Game: Raiders running back Darren McFadden, who rushed 16 times for 165 yards & scored 3 touchdowns. McFadden also caught 2 receptions for 31 yards & scored 1 touchdown.

Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels on the blowout home loss:

“I apologize to (owner) Pat (Bowlen) and the organization, all the fans and everyone else. It was awful.”

28

24

Star Player of the Game: Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who completed 21 of 34 passes for 295 yards & threw for 2 touchdowns & 2 interceptions.

Vikings quarterback Brett Favre on losing his first game in three tries against his former team:

“It’ll be tough to get over this loss as it’s tough to get over any loss, but we have to find a way to do it and the reality is if I can play but not be effective, then it’s not worth playing. I know the heart’s in the right place, though. I know I left it on the field, it was just disappointing that it didn’t work our way.”

41

35

Star Player of the Game: Giants quarterback Eli Manning, who completed 25 of 35 passes for 306 yards while throwing for 4 touchdowns & 3 interceptions.

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo on his broken collarbone injury, which will sideline him for the next 6-to-8 weeks:

“I’m staying optimistic. This football team has a lot of high-character guys, a lot of competitive individuals who aren’t going to give in to a tough situation.”
