Dominating performances from Jay Cutler plus big games from the defense could mean an exciting season for the Bears.

They were both on full display on Sunday afternoon, as Chicago held on for a 27-20 win over Dallas from Texas Stadium.

The play that had people buzzing was the spectacular one-handed touchdown grab by Devin Hester, as that 9-yard score put the Bears up for good.

Chicago was able to overcome a big game from Miles Austin (10 receptions for 142 yards) and just a 1-for-11 conversion rate on 3rd downs, as they’re now 2-0 for the first time in 4 years.

Cutler again was spectacular, as he completed 21 of 29 passes for 277 yards & 3 passing touchdowns.

He’s just 7 passing yards behind Tony Romo for the league lead & his 5 touchdown passes puts him in a first-place tie with Philip Rivers & Tom Brady.

D.J. Moore had himself a big game in the Bears’ secondary, as he picked off Tony Romo twice & assisted Charles Tillman during Roy Williams’ big 4th quarter fumble that helped seal a big road win.

Chicago will host Green Bay next Monday night for first place in the NFC North, while Dallas will look to get things on track against 2-0 Houston next Sunday.
