Both coaches of the recently completed 2010 NBA Finals have agreed to return to their respective teams for one final season before settling into retirement.
The Los Angeles Lakers’ Phil Jackson is coming off a league-record 11th championship win, as he’ll try to pull off a second three-peat with his 2nd team next season to end an illustrious career.
The Boston Celtics’ Doc Rivers has guided his team to 2 NBA Finals appearences in the last 3 years & won the 2000 NBA Coach of the Year award after nearly leading an Orlando Magic team to the playoffs without a single All-Star on its’ roster.
