The defending Stanley Cup champions are already busy at work to improve next season’s roster.
On Wednesday, the Chicago Blackhawks traded postseason hero Dustin Byfuglien along with Brent Sopel, Ben Eager & prospect Akim Aliu to the Atlanta Thrashers in exchange for Marty Reasoner, prospect Jeremy Morin, the 24th overall pick & 54th overall pick in the 2010 NHL Draft.
Kris Versteeg & Patrick Sharp could still be on the trading block, but it appears that the twosome are safe for now in Chicago.
