Seahawks release LenDale White..

In a somewhat surprising move Friday, the Seattle Seahawks released LenDale White just a little over a month after acquiring him in a draft-day trade.
The reunitation between White & new head coach Pete Carroll will not happen now, as the 25-year old running back reportedly lost over 45 pounds in the last year & a half to prepare for another starting role in the league.
It is unsure if his release is tied to a recent report that White could be facing a possible 4-game suspension for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy, which will go into effect when he signs with another team.
In a reduced role last season mainly due to the emergence of 2,000 yard rusher Chris Johnson, White rushed for a career-low 222 yards in 13 games for the 8-8 Tennessee Titans.
