Washington Wizards land #1 pick in 2010 NBA Draft!

For the first time since 2001, the Washington Wizards will have the NBA’s top pick as they won the Draft Lottery on Tuesday evening from Secaucaus, New Jersey.
Kentucky freshman guard John Wall is expected to be the consensus overall #1 pick, which figures to be a whole lot better than Washington’s last top-pick selection of Kwame Brown (who was drafted by Michael Jordan of all people!)
Should the Wizards wind up drafting Wall, it could spell the end for Gilbert Arenas, who appeared in just 32 games last season after being suspended for a firearms issue that he had with teammate Javaris Crittenton inside the team’s locker room on Christmas Eve.
