Sporting the 2nd worst record in the majors through 35 games, the Kansas City Royals parted ways with Trey Hillman on Thursday, which ends his 2+ year run with the team.

Hillman led the Royals to 75 wins in his rookie season in 2008, which was their highest total in 5 years.

From that point on the team plummetted, as they went a combined 77-120 (.390) for the rest of the way.

Former Milwaukee Brewers manager Ned Yost will take over, as his 1st game will be on Friday as Kansas City will host the Chicago White Sox.
