More murder charges have been approved for a Wisconsin man after death of the fifth victim in a killing spree that happened last month on the West Side, police said.
James Larry, 32, was already in custody, charged with the deaths of four family members, who prosecutors say he shot to death on April 14. Today he was charged with a fifth count of murder after his mother, Leona Larry, 57, died on May 1 from wounds suffered in the early-morning attack.
Also killed in the incident were Larry’s pregnant wife, Twanda Thompson, 19, his 7-month-old son Jihad, his pregnant niece, Keyshai Fields, 16, and another neice, 3-year-old Keleasha Larry.
James Larry is scheduled to appear in court on Saturday.
