The Boston Red Sox secured the last member of what figures to be a strong starting rotation for years to come, as Josh Beckett agreed to a $68 million, 4 year deal on Monday.

He has always been known as a dominant postseason pitcher, as evidenced by his 7-3 record & 3 shutouts, which is tied with Christy Mathweson for the most in major-league history.

Prior to this season, Beckett has won 15 or more games in 4 of the past 5 years, which includes a career-high 20 wins in 2007.

Overall, he is 106-68 in 226 career starts over his 10-year career with the Florida Marlins & Boston Red Sox.
