Rams release Marc Bulger….

Written by on April 6, 2010

The St. Louis Rams have parted ways with veteran quarterback Marc Bulger on Monday, which will clear the way for them to reportedly take Sam Bradford with the 1st overall pick in this month’s NFL Draft.

Bulger spent his entire 8-year career with the Rams & served as a backup to 2-time NFL MVP Kurt Warner before fully taking over in 2003.

The results were mixed, as he had four seasons where his interception total exceeded the number of touchdowns thrown with the exception of 2003-04, when he threw for 22 touchdown passes & a career-high 22 interceptions.

Bulger’s best season as a Ram came in 2006, as he threw for over 4,000 yards for the 1st time in his career & also threw for a career-high 24 touchdown passes.
