Texans, DeMeco Ryans agree to 6 year deal..

The Houston Texans have agreed on a deal to lock up one of their top defenders long-term, as DeMeco Ryans will be signed throughout the 2016 season.
Ryans made his 1st ever Pro Bowl appearence last season after making 123 tackles & was the 2006 Defensive Rookie of the Year.
This will continue to strength Houston’s defense, as they already have 2-time Pro Bowl defensive end Mario Williams & 2009 Defensive Rookie of the Year Brian Cushing alongside Ryans at linebacker.
The Texans finished with their first ever winning season in franchise history at 9-7 in 2009, but were eliminated from postseason play in Week 17.
