Danero Thomas shoots Murray State into the 2nd round!

For the 2nd time in 3 years, Vanderbilt has been victimized by a #13 seed as Danero Thomas hit a buzzer-beating jumper to lift Murray State to an upset win & just their 2nd tournament win in 14 tries.
Thomas’ shot clearly was in the air before time expired, as his game-winner set off a joyous celebration near midcourt as the Vanderbilt players were left absolutely stunned.

“This is probably the biggest shot I’ve ever hit in my life. It felt so good, I knew it was going in.”
The Racers can now shoot for their first ever Sweet 16 appearence in school history if they can pull off another upset against #5 seeded Butler on Saturday.
