After two series of concussions cost Brian Westbrook nearly half the 2009 season, the Philadelphia Eagles have decided to part ways with the 2-time Pro Bowl running back.
Westbrook only received 61 carries last season (lowest total since rookie season), as he often took a backseat to rookie LeSean McCoy, who now figures to be atop Philadelphia’s depth chart at running back for 2010.
Brian’s best season came in 2007, where he set career-highs in rushing attempts (278), rushing yards (1,333), rushing yards per game (88.9), receptions (90), receiving yards (771) & 1st downs (31).
